About The Position

The Learning & Development Coordinator supports the Student Experience Training team in the development, maintenance, coordination, and delivery of engaging and effective learning resources. Working under the direction of Learning & Development leadership, the Coordinator assists with eLearning development, training administration, quality assurance, learning technology, and communication activities. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles and a strong interest in developing skills in eLearning technologies and virtual facilitation.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with team members and internal stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Ability and interest in learning new technologies and learning platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail skills, organization abilities, and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow established processes and guidelines, manage routine assignments and deadlines, incorporate feedback, and escalate questions or exceptions appropriately.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
  • 1 year of relevant work experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Review and edit developed content for clarity, consistency, instructional integrity, and accessibility using established compliance, quality, brand, and style guidelines.
  • Identify needed corrections or adjustments and escalate questions as appropriate.
  • Assist in developing storyboards, scripts, outlines, toolkits, job aids, and training communications using established templates, learning objectives, and design standards.
  • Incorporate interactive elements, assessments, simulations, and multimedia elements with guidance from Learning & Development leadership or instructional designers.
  • Coordinate routine Learning Management System (LMS) activities, including submitting training upload and assignment requests, maintaining learner and distribution lists provided by Student Experience leaders, requesting completion reports, and preparing training communications using established processes and templates.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing on learning modules to identify routine technical or content issues, make corrections within established guidelines, and escalate issues requiring additional support.
  • Participate in feedback sessions with instructional designers, facilitators, stakeholders, and end users; document common themes and recommended adjustments to existing content for review by Learning & Development leadership.
  • Monitor established communication channels for policy, process, or procedural updates that may require updates to existing learning materials.
