About The Position

Intertek is seeking a Learning Consultant for its People Assurance team. The role provides clients with training on the functionality of the Alchemy platform, helping manufacturing workforces manage employee training assignments at their locations. The position travels at least 70% of the time and delivers training both at client locations and online. Although the posting initially describes the role as on-site unless otherwise stated, the qualifications section identifies this position as remote; applicants must reside in and be legally able to work in the United States. The position follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule during office hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The stated base salary range is $65,000–$70,000, with individual compensation based on factors including skills, experience, and qualifications.

Requirements

Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office product suite.
At least 3 years of adult teaching experience, virtually and/or in person.
Task and time management skills for learning and development projects.
Professionalism and a customer-service orientation.
Working knowledge of adult learning theories.
Problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Domestic and international travel experience, including booking, planning, and decision-making.
Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
Must reside in and be legally able to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or Education.
Experience in the food industry or food manufacturing.
Instructional design experience, including developing learning activities, job aids, and other learning materials.
Project management skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Experience with and practical use of LMS technologies.
Technical writing experience.
Bilingual ability, strongly preferred in French, Spanish, German, Thai, or Polish.

Responsibilities

Travel to client locations and host online sessions to deliver Alchemy product training.
Submit training trip reports highlighting key observations from onsite client visits.
Respond promptly and professionally to client calls and emails.
Work with the Learning Consultant team to maintain customer-facing training help documentation, team presentation decks, emails, and training processes.
Assess client training-day needs and provide timely feedback to team leadership.
Use sound judgment and decision-making when working with customers, team members, and other departments.
