About The Position

The Learning Center Coordinator (LCC) is responsible for the daily leadership, operations, and success of a designated Learning Center site. The LCC supports student achievement by fostering a welcoming and structured environment, supervising onsite staff, overseeing student engagement and progress, and ensuring compliance with academic and organizational policies. The LCC plays a critical role in maintaining a strong school culture, facilitating communication among students, staff, and families, and supporting overall organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership, management, or educational experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students, families, and staff.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with technology platforms such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and student information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily leadership and oversight of the Learning Center, ensuring a positive, safe, and professional environment.
  • Supervise all onsite staff, including teachers, student success coaches, administrative support staff, and volunteers.
  • Manage the daily schedule, including student arrival, attendance, and site-based activities.
  • Coordinate facility management needs, including technology, safety, and maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor student academic progress through data tracking and performance reviews.
  • Support students in goal setting, academic planning, and accountability measures.
  • Facilitate student onboarding processes and learning center orientations.
  • Implement intervention strategies for students who are off-track academically or behaviorally.
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for families regarding student concerns and progress.
  • Lead regular family meetings, conferences, and site events to promote engagement and communication.
  • Build partnerships with local community organizations to support center programming and student success.
  • Ensure compliance with attendance, academic, safety, and operational protocols.
  • Maintain accurate student records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Support state testing administration and other required assessments at the Learning Center site.
  • Prepare reports and updates as requested by school leadership.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to Learning Center staff to support professional growth.
  • Participate in leadership team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, high expectations, and continuous improvement.
