About The Position

The Leadership Development Program Lead is responsible for designing, coordinating, and continuously enhancing leadership development programs that strengthen organizational capability and prepare leaders for future success. This role serves as the primary administrator for leadership and management training, leadership onboarding, external learning opportunities, and learning vendor partnerships. The Leadership Development Program Lead works closely with executive leadership, managers, subject matter experts, and learning providers to build leadership effectiveness, support succession readiness, and foster a culture of continuous learning. This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but serves as a strategic partner and subject matter expert in leadership development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field required. (or 5 years of related leadership development work in financial services)
5+ years of experience in learning and development, leadership development, talent management, organizational development, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Experience managing leadership or management training programs preferred.
Experience coordinating external learning partnerships and vendors preferred.
Financial services or credit union experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage leadership development programs aligned with organizational strategy and leadership competencies.
Support leadership pipelines through programs that develop emerging, frontline, midlevel, and senior leaders.
Partner with business leaders to identify leadership capability gaps and development priorities.
Create development pathways that support succession planning and talent readiness.
Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on participant feedback, organizational needs, and business outcomes.
Maintain leadership development curricula, resources, and learning materials.
Lead the coordination and administration of management development programs.
Facilitate or coordinate training on topics such as coaching, performance management, employee engagement, communication, conflict resolution, accountability, change leadership, and talent development.
Support newly promoted managers through onboarding and foundational management training.
Ensure management training is aligned with organizational values, culture, and leadership expectations.
Partner with subject matter experts to develop and deliver learning content.
Manage participation in external leadership programs, conferences, certifications, professional associations, and continuing education opportunities.
Research and recommend learning opportunities that align with organizational and leadership development objectives.
Coordinate application, registration, scheduling, travel, and participation processes as appropriate.
Monitor external learning investments and measure participant outcomes and organizational impact.
Maintain relationships with colleges, universities, leadership institutes, and professional development organizations.
Serve as the primary relationship manager for external leadership learning and development vendors.
Coordinate vendor selection, program implementation, scheduling, and performance reviews.
Manage leadership development calendars, schedules, registrations, communications, and program logistics.
Maintain learning records, participation data, and development plans.
Track leadership training completion and participation metrics.
Collaborate with Credit Union Leadership to drive leadership development across the organization.
Promote a culture of learning, growth, and continuous improvement.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders regarding development resources and opportunities.
