Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Five years of professional experience in organizational development, leadership development, change management, coaching, or a similar field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the job duties is also accepted.
  • Leadership development and adult learning techniques.
  • Organizational development, team effectiveness practices.
  • Change management methods and processes.
  • Facilitation, conflict resolution, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Program evaluation and continuous improvement methods.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related field.

  • Experience working in the public sector or a large, complex organization.
  • Experience designing and leading leadership development, organizational development, or change management initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Coach teams and individuals to enhance self-awareness, leadership skills, collaboration, and performance.
  • Support leaders and teams during change, role shifts, and conflicts using proven coaching methods.
  • Facilitate tough conversations, resolve conflicts, and build trust to improve team effectiveness.
  • Give leaders practical skills to develop employees and guide them through change.
  • Work with Human Resources to pinpoint leadership and workforce development needs.
  • Design, deliver, and enhance leadership development programs and resources.
  • Manage leadership initiatives, including cohort programs, budgets, contracts, and vendor partnerships.
  • Create frameworks and tools that ensure consistent leadership practices.
  • Assess program effectiveness and make improvements based on feedback and results.
  • Collaborate with Training and stakeholders to align leadership development with priorities.
  • Identify new leadership needs and suggest development strategies.
  • Partner with leaders and teams to develop change management strategies aligned with priorities.
  • Facilitate team development, strategic planning, and culture-building sessions.
  • Create tools and best practices to enhance organizational development and management skills.
  • Measure change adoption and effectiveness using both qualitative and quantitative data, and recommend improvements.
  • Work with agency leadership to enhance leadership skills, employee engagement, and culture.
  • Develop strategies for leadership and organizational development in line with the agency's plan and values.
  • Analyze data to spot trends and suggest actions to boost effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on trends in leadership, coaching, and change management.
