About The Position

Part of the Product & Merchandising team, you are the driving force behind bringing our products to market. You will be an expert in understanding customer needs and delivering the right products to the right people. Keeping a close eye on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's go-to-market strategy and ensuring that our products remain customer-centric.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Sales/Marketing of consumer products
  • Proven successful history in the following areas: Business and category development, New Product development and execution
  • Relentless curiosity to understand and improve products and the experience surrounding them
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally required
  • Utilization of analytics and tools to provide insights to the business and make fact based decisions
  • Strong communication and influencing skills working with external (customer) and internal stakeholders.
  • Professional knowledge: Stays current on industry changes and product specifics affecting projects.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for AS branded product marketing and merchandising activities.
  • Delivers product strategy that drives growth in key strategic areas including growing with the PRO, Consumer, Faucet expansion, and supporting product initiatives across channels and segments.
  • Drives value creation for the AS residential segment through pricing, promotion and SKU management activities.
  • Support Long range plan creation.
  • Manage all phases of the product life cycle for responsible categories and projects
  • Utilize market data and feedback to support short and long term product s
  • Lead projects from idea brief to gate 5 post commercialization inclusive of packaging
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners (sales, brand) to align NPD projects: Key benefit, benefit visualization, target channels/customers, opportunity size, etc…
  • Develop NPD volume and pricing assumptions from gate 0-Gate 5
  • Support customer meetings with demonstrations as needed
  • Support assigned channels (retail, trade, .com) to grow and maintain profitable share.
  • Monitor performance of existing SKUs using insights, reporting, analytics (five star, returns, warranty, etc..) to improve SKU performance
  • Lead initiatives (e.g., cost savings, compliance with regulations) that allow LIXIL to realize growth and manufacturing efficiencies without sacrificing quality, or performance.
  • Respond to issues around existing and new products to satisfy expectations for all categories
  • Collaborates with GROHE fittings on portfolio based projects
  • Leads Phase in / out process for fittings including excess and obsolete
  • Leads annual SKU rationalization process
  • Partners with channel marketing to create key customers promotional plans /quarterly playbooks
  • Supports annual pricing increase process
  • Supports pricing and promo evaluation with the help of finance
