Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Direct workers engaged in production activities to ensure the continuous production of conforming product in the most efficient and safe manner possible. Training of employees, planning, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems in the absence of the department supervisor. May assist with performance of production tasks as needed. Operation of lifting devices as needed. Looks for opportunity to get involved in safety, environmental, process changes and overall improvement efforts. Follows all EHS guidelines and applicable procedures. Read, understand and follow the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and EHS Work Instructions. Report any unsafe conditions or incidents in a timely manner to their supervisor or any member of management. Shut down process if unsafe. Follow proper machine shutdown procedures. Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

  • 3G weld certification or ability to pass weld test
  • Set-up and operate machines and welding equipment
  • Blue print and weld detail knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Good attendance
