About The Position

This role is for a Data Governance Lead who will be client-facing and responsible for owning and driving end-to-end data governance for the TIBCO modernization program. The goal is to ensure governance-by-design across Kafka, Databricks, and Collibra, aligned with enterprise standards. The role requires 10+ years of experience in Digital Data Governance and is for US Citizens or Green Card holders only. The position is 100% onsite in Atlanta, GA, for a duration of 6 months.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Align and firm up on enterprise data governance framework, policies, and operating model.
• Lead metadata, lineage, classification, and cataloging (Collibra) in line with NS policies.
• Govern Kafka topics, schemas, retention, and ownership standards.
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and zero data-loss during migration.
• Drive compliance (PII, IAM, audit, security controls) and audit readiness.
• Anchor data governance council, stewardship, and issue resolution.
• Integrate governance into DataOps pipelines and platform (not applications).
• Lead parallel run validation, business sign-offs, and go-live approvals.
