About The Position

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is a social service organization serving children, youth and families, people with disabilities, older adults, and military veterans. The position provides direct outreach and engagement services to youth and young adults ages 16–24 experiencing homelessness or housing instability. It builds trusting relationships through street, school, community, and systems-based outreach, connecting youth to housing, resources, and supportive services across the program’s geographic service area.

The role coordinates outreach activities and coverage strategies, develops community partnerships, ensures compliance with grant requirements and reporting standards, supports program evaluation and outcomes, and assists with program planning, development, and budget oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct outreach and engagement services to youth and young adults ages 16–24 experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
• Build trusting relationships through street, school, community, and systems-based outreach.
• Connect youth to housing, resources, and supportive services throughout the program’s geographic service area.
• Coordinate outreach activities and coverage strategies.
