About The Position

PJ Fitzpatrick is seeking an experienced and dependable Window & Door Installer for its Production team. The role is responsible for completing window and door installations according to company standards and customer contracts while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, first-shift position. Pay is $29 per hour, with the potential to earn a monthly bonus.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience installing and repairing windows, doors, and siding.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to safely lift and carry equipment, materials, and supplies weighing up to 105 pounds.
• Experience using installation tools and equipment, including a brake.
• Comfort working on ladders and at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to complete projects efficiently and within established timelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time at job sites in company uniform and prepared for the workday.
• Review job packets to understand the full scope of work before installation.
• Inspect delivered materials for accuracy before starting the project.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with homeowners throughout installation.
• Prepare and protect the work area using boot covers, drop cloths, and proper job-site cleanliness practices.
• Complete window and door installations according to company standards and customer contracts.
• Promptly relay job-site concerns or issues to the Lead Installer and/or Project Manager.
• Review completed work for quality and accuracy before leaving the job site.
• Demonstrate the completed product’s operation and functionality to homeowners.
• Collect any required customer payments upon project completion.
• Communicate regularly with the Production Coordinator before and after each job and at the end of each shift.
• Submit completed timesheets daily.
