We’re looking for a Lead Warehouse Associate who can energize a team, keep operations running smoothly, and help us hit peak performance every shift. This isn’t a desk job — you’ll spend 85% of your time on the floor, leading by example and making real-time impact.

Requirements

  • Hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to spend 85% of time on the floor
  • Experience with ERP/SAP systems
  • Experience with inventory management
  • Experience with cycle counts and investigating discrepancies
  • Experience collaborating with internal departments, vendors, and transport partners
  • Experience resolving shipment issues
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and reporting
  • Experience participating in Lean initiatives and Operational Excellence programs
  • Experience training and mentoring team members

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in a Lead role
  • Prior SAP experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume warehouse environment
  • Paper converting, chemical/plastics processing and packaging industrial experience

Responsibilities

  • Support your Supervisor and guide team members to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals
  • Keep workflows running smoothly across dock operations, shipping, and receiving
  • Coordinate trailer routing, scheduling, and sequencing
  • Monitor KPIs and audit the floor to ensure adherence to processes
  • Identify gaps, solve problems, and escalate issues when needed
  • Communicate shift updates and challenges to maintain alignment
  • Track and manage inventory using ERP/SAP systems
  • Lead cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and determine root causes
  • Optimize space and ensure proper inventory flow (FIFO)
  • Work with internal departments, vendors, and transport partners
  • Resolve shipment issues such as delays, shortages, and documentation errors
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting
  • Participate in Lean initiatives and Operational Excellence programs
  • Train and mentor team members, especially on SAP systems
  • Help foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and accountability
