About The Position

Rooms To Go is hiring a Lead Warehouse Associate to work in the offices of its Outlet stores. The role is responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of offices, distribution centers, warehouses, customer lounges, showrooms, and parking lots. Duties also include handling furniture and customer orders, assisting with customer pickups and deliveries, and arranging showroom furniture under the direction of designers and managers. The starting pay is $15–$17 per hour, depending on experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be a team player who is driven and motivated to succeed.
• Be able and willing to work a flexible retail schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be able to learn and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Be able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds.
• Be able to bend, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
• Be able to follow directions and work safely.
• Be able to work in a non-air-conditioned environment.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Prior furniture experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers.
• Pull customer orders.
• Load furniture purchases for customer pickups and deliveries.
• Arrange furniture in the showroom as directed by designers and managers.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of showrooms, warehouses, offices, distribution centers, customer lounges, and parking lots.
