About The Position

Early Learning Academies is seeking a qualified Lead VPK Teacher for Kids Cove / Excel Creative Early Learning. The role is suited to someone passionate about providing children with an exceptional early learning experience and nurturing young minds. Candidates may have prior childcare experience or be new to the industry, but should bring energy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to supporting children’s learning. A staff credential is required. It may be met with a CDA, FCCPC, or an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Forty-five hours of DCF training and VPK Emergent Literacy are preferred and may be completed at the time of hire. The position requires completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. The stated pay range is $13.75–$18 USD.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
A staff credential is required; it may be met with a CDA, FCCPC, or an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Must meet state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.
Completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required.
A valid driver's license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.

Nice To Haves
