About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a successful casino entertainment company in the United States. This role oversees the daily parking operations by attendants, including break scheduling, vehicle pickups/retrievals, and new hire training. The Lead Valet Attendant ensures department adherence to company policies, manages vehicle claim tickets, maintains the cleanliness and organization of the valet area, and inspects vehicles for pre-existing damages. This position also involves preparing weekly work schedules, maintaining employee time and attendance records, resolving guest concerns, and supervising, training, evaluating, and disciplining team members. Additional duties may include assisting bellpersons with luggage and arrivals.

Requirements

Must have at least three (3) years of valet experience
Must maintain clean driving record and valid state driver license.
Must be able to drive automatic and manual transmission.
Must be able stand, walk, and run for short bursts during shift.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations

Responsibilities

Oversees daily parking of vehicles by attendants, break scheduling, vehicle pickups/retrievals and new hire training
Ensures department adherence to company and departmental policies and procedures.
Accurately assign and verify vehicle claim tickets upon arrival and retrieval.
Keep driveway clear of any vehicle that do not require valet assistance, clean areas around booth, and valet area.
Inspect vehicle and report damages that exist prior to or after parking.
Distribute vehicle claim tickets and oversee key storage area/booth.
Prepare weekly work schedules, and maintain employee time and attendance.
Respond to and resolve guest concerns and complaints.
Hire, supervise, train, evaluate job performance, and administer discipline for team members.
Assisting bellpersons with luggage and arrival.
