About The Position

With a focus on Compensation, as a Lead Total Rewards Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how SimplePractice attracts, rewards, and retains top talent across the organization. This is a hands-on role for a strategic builder who is energized by solving total rewards challenges through data, creativity, and technology. You'll identify opportunities to build scalable AI solutions that make our total rewards function faster, more accurate, and more impactful. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in total rewards, with a strong emphasis on compensation and equity
  • Hands-on experience with equity compensation administration
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to drive efficiency in total rewards workflows and a track record of building or championing AI-powered solutions (not just using them)
  • Experience managing total rewards functions within Workday, including compensation and equity modules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical total rewards information to multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage assigned projects and effectively collaborate across functions, including Finance, Legal, and People teams

Responsibilities

  • Support the strategy, design, analysis, and administration of compensation programs (base salary, bonus, equity), including equity administration
  • Comfortable experimenting with, and piloting AI tools to streamline compensation modeling, scenario planning, and pay equity analyses, proactively identify opportunities to build scalable AI-powered solutions that reduce manual work across the total rewards function
  • Comfortably lead training initiatives for diverse audiences on SimplePractice's compensation philosophy, equity programs, and related processes
  • Conduct market benchmarking using survey data (e.g., Radford, Mercer) to ensure competitiveness across all total rewards programs
  • Assist in the annual compensation cycle with the goal of eventually leading the full cycle end-to-end
  • Maintain job architecture, leveling frameworks, and salary ranges; partner with People Business Partners on offer recommendations, pay decisions, and equity grant recommendations
  • Support administration and evaluation of assigned benefits programs
  • Assist with analyses of select benefit program utilization and cost trends, applying data modeling and AI-assisted analytics to surface insights and inform program improvements
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports on compensation, equity, and benefits metrics
  • Design and deploy AI-assisted reporting tools and automated workflows to improve speed and accuracy of total rewards insights
  • Ensure data accuracy across HRIS and other HR-interfacing applications, using automation to reduce data integrity risks
