About The Position

Tobin Children's School is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher for one of its full-day, full-year Toddler classrooms. This role involves working collaboratively with two other full-time Toddler teachers and an afternoon assistant to support up to 9 children per day in a classroom operating from 7:15 AM to 5:45 PM. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for parent communication, child supervision, curriculum planning, child assessment, and ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, EEC licensing, and NAEYC Accreditation standards. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts and a paid 30-minute break. The role requires flexibility to work shifts from 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and 9:45 AM to 5:45 PM. Additionally, the Lead Teacher will be part of the Tobin Children's School Leadership Team, participating in weekly meetings with administrators on program planning and school-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• EEC Lead Toddler Teacher certification
• Several years of early childhood teaching experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to plan creative engaging curriculum
