Full Time PreK Teacher at Tobin Children's School
About The Position
Tobin Children's School is seeking a PreK Teacher for one of its two full-day, full-year PreK classrooms. This teacher will collaborate with two other full-time teachers and an afternoon assistant to support up to 18 children daily. The role involves parent communication, child supervision, curriculum planning, child assessment, and ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, EEC licensing, and NAEYC standards. Full-time positions are 40 hours per week with paid 30-minute breaks. A flexible schedule is required, with shifts ranging from 7:15 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and 9:45 AM - 5:45 PM.
Requirements
- EEC Preschool Teacher certification
- Early childhood teaching experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan creative engaging curriculum
Nice To Haves
- A degree in early childhood or related field
- Knowledge of a second language
