About The Position
The Goddard School in Macedonia is seeking energetic, nurturing, and passionate individuals to impact children's lives as an early educational leader. This full-time position (40 hours/week) involves being a co-lead teacher in a classroom for children aged 1-2 years in a preschool setting. We are committed to providing a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment that fosters professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or a child-related degree) is preferred.
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education (or a child-related degree).
- Current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching credential.
- Currently enrolled in a CDA or degreed program.
- Knowledge of childcare programming, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management and customer service principles.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes.
- Planning, presenting, and evaluating educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment.
- Working directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
- Observing children's interests and collaborating with other teachers to develop creative ideas for an engaging curriculum.
- Communicating with parents daily about their children's adventures and achievements through various channels, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Engaging with other child care professionals to foster professional growth.
