Brella is looking to hire a Lead Toddler Teacher who works with 18-24 month old's and is excited about building a new model of child care that responds to families' varying child care needs, while also delivering the highest quality experiences for children. This role is for educators who embrace change, are eager to learn, take pride in what they do, and see their time with children as a learning opportunity. The Lead Toddler Teacher will develop classroom procedures, manage the classroom's flow of the day, and guide co-teachers to achieve classroom management and quality curriculum implementation. They will also mentor, train, and grow teachers, modeling Brella’s teacher best practices and supporting the teacher evaluation process. Additionally, the role involves actively participating in workshops, training, special events, and Lead Teacher meetings, relaying administration updates constructively and effectively with the team. Collaboration and respectful communication with coworkers to create positive relationships and center culture are key. The Lead Toddler Teacher will manage classroom materials, ensuring a well-organized, developmentally appropriate classroom. They will implement Brella curriculum, develop daily modifications as needed, and demonstrate that target curriculum engagement/quality elements are being achieved. Finally, the role requires acting as the point person for family communication, providing curriculum and development updates.
