About The Position

At Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers, we believe the toddler years are filled with exciting opportunities for growth, discovery, and learning. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated early childhood educator with extensive experience leading toddler classrooms. As the Lead Toddler Teacher, you have the responsibility to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment utilizing the High Scope curriculum. With the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher, you will foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through hands-on play-based learning experiences, while building strong partnerships with families and mentoring staff.

Requirements

CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, required
A minimum of one year experience in a toddler classroom is required
CPR certification is required for all teaching staff, may be obtained within 30 days of hire
Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or a child-related field is preferred
