SRE Lead Technical Leadership Professional
About The Position
The Lead Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for software or hardware product delivery and performance, working on problems of diverse scope and complexity. The role partners with design engineering, test engineering, manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional business teams to lead products from final design completion through validation, qualification, and high-volume production release. It ensures products are technically sound, manufacturable at scale, and compliant with performance, quality, and customer requirements. The position provides technical leadership in evaluating, verifying, and qualifying advanced technology components and systems. It develops and executes engineering test strategies, analyzes performance data, identifies risks, and drives corrective actions to support product introduction and lifecycle management. It also liaises across engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams to resolve complex product issues and improve product reliability and customer satisfaction. The role advises leadership on technical and operational strategies within business segments or product domains. It uses broad discretion, sound judgment, and independent decision-making to address complex technical challenges, manage competing priorities, and determine effective courses of action with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of project leadership experience.
- Experience with the technologies used in the applications or infrastructure.
- Experience with unit testing and mocking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver quality results within established timelines.
- Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders.
- Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements, and trend reports.
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Nice To Haves
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to run large-scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams.
- Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes.
- Background in a dedicated SRE organization.
- Six Sigma certification.
- ITIL certification.
