About The Position

Childtime is hiring a Lead Teacher to support children’s learning and development at its child care center. The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow Teachers, promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, manages the classroom, implements curriculum, and follows licensing guidelines and company standards. The role also involves building relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position requires engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activity with them. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience. The listed Lead Teacher pay range is $20.61–$21.41. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
