About The Position

Tutor Time of Commerce is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting preschool children’s growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. The Lead Teacher also mentors fellow Teachers and ensures the classroom follows licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Understand and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
