About The Position

Tutor Time of Okemos is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher develops fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers; promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children; leads classroom management and curriculum implementation; follows licensing guidelines and company standards; and builds sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities
