About The Position

Carpe Diem Private Preschool, part of Endeavor Schools, is hiring a Lead Infant Teacher. The role develops and implements age-appropriate curriculum, plans activities that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assesses and documents students’ progress. The Lead Teacher helps create a positive, harmonious learning environment and ensures children’s safety and well-being. The employer offers career development programs, education incentives, and opportunities for advancement. The stated pay range is $18.00–$21.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two to five years of prior experience working in a certified child development center.
Prior experience with the assigned age group.
Meet specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
Ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about early childhood education.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Early Childhood Development or CDA certification is preferred.
