About The Position
Great Beginnings is seeking a Lead Teacher for its infant classroom. The Lead Teacher develops and implements age-appropriate curriculum, plans engaging activities that support children's cognitive, social, and emotional development, and monitors and documents student progress. The role also involves helping lead innovative learning activities, ensuring children's safety and well-being, and creating a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The position requires communication with parents and staff and a patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate approach to early childhood education.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CDA, TCC, or more education is required.
- At least 1 year of experience with infants or toddlers.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
- Patience, collaboration, creativity, and passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities
