About The Position

This is more than just a daycare job. It’s a journey where you learn, grow, thrive, and play every day. As a Lead Teacher at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners. You will develop fun, interactive learning experiences, promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. You will also mentor fellow Teachers and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Be energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Know and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
