About The Position

Learn And Play Montessori Schools is seeking a Lead Teacher to help create a warm, nurturing classroom where children can learn, play, and grow. The school uses a Montessori + STEM™ curriculum to support children’s social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development and inspire lifelong learning. Teachers build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues and contribute to the success of their school. The role partners with parents, center staff, school leadership, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners to provide quality care and education and support school goals. The position is offered as full-time, part-time, or substitute work. Requirements

Complete 12 core ECE units and an infant/toddler course.
Hold a Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
Be willing to change diapers.
Have strong customer service skills.
Be able to multitask and remain organized.
Be able to work within regular operating hours.
Meet state criteria for child care employment.

Work with center staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, growth, and engagement.
Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
Implement the Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM™ curriculum in a way that meets each child’s unique needs.
