About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensures adherence to licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The Lead Teacher also mentors fellow Teachers.

Its research-based curriculum is designed to support holistic child development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment and to prepare children for school and future success.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
