About The Position

The Bradley School is a licensed private academy serving students with special education needs, including learning, emotional, and behavioral challenges that can make success in a traditional classroom difficult. The school provides individualized academic experiences and state-of-the-art classroom resources designed for its students. The Lead Teacher will help support students’ success while contributing leadership, organization, and compassion to the school’s academic operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education.
Valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification.
At least three years of experience working with youth in an educational setting.
At least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing schedules, enrollment, transcripts, and testing data.
Strong initiative and leadership presence.
Ability to have thoughtful, constructive conversations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professionalism, sound judgment, and reliability.
Genuine passion for helping children succeed.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Education.
Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Manage student schedules, school rosters, census, and daily enrollment.
Oversee PowerSchool report cards, transcripts, PA Secure IDs, and Keystone tracking.
Coordinate CDT admission and discharge testing, PSSA and Keystone testing, and test administrator training.
Conduct teacher observations, evaluations, and supervision, and support new teachers.
Manage clinical paperwork and oversee credit recovery.
Participate in and support academic initiatives.
