About The Position

This is a child care center teaching role focused on inspiring children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, supports children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The role also involves mentoring fellow Teachers and following licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain expertise in and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.

• Hourly pay of $17.36–$18.03, based on position, education, and experience.
