Lead Teacher Young Hearts Preschool
About The Position
The Lead Teacher at Young Hearts Preschool will report to the School Director. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for all students assigned to them in the areas of education, supervision, assessment, and parent communication. Young Hearts Preschool exists to build a strong foundation for students’ success in their educational journey. We inspire to instill the love of learning in our preschool students by providing a caring, learning environment in which they will flourish. We will teach in a manner which fosters self-confidence, the joy of childhood, critical thinking skills and elementary school readiness.
Requirements
- 2+ years of teaching in a preschool or prekindergarten classroom
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must meet the qualifications of a Lead Teacher in accordance with the Arizona Department of Health Services, Bureau of Child Care Licensing
- Must possess or obtain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must have a negative TB test
Nice To Haves
- CDA, Associates Degree or higher preferred
- Will be required to obtain CPR/First Aid certification upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all students assigned to them in the areas of education, supervision, assessment, and parent communication.
- Utilize the Creative Curriculum and the GOLD Assessment tool to execute lessons and assessments.
- Follow quality assurance measures to maintain excellence of program offerings, operations, and state licensure.
