About The Position

The Lead Teacher is responsible for managing the classroom and leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. The teacher implements The Learning Experience’s proprietary L.E.A.P. curriculum, using its characters and resources to make learning enjoyable. The role also involves communicating regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements, building relationships with families and coworkers, and creating an environment where play and learning work together. The Learning Experience provides immersive, state-of-the-art classrooms with current technology, materials, and resources. The franchise is independently owned and operated; applications go to the franchisee, whose management makes hiring decisions.

Requirements

At least six months of professional teaching experience is required; one year is preferred.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Meet applicable background screening and state licensing requirements for the role.

Nice To Haves

An associate degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field.
One year of professional teaching experience.
