About The Position

The Lead Teacher is responsible for overall classroom management and for leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. The role implements The Learning Experience’s proprietary L.E.A.P. curriculum, using engaging characters to make learning fun. The teacher communicates regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions, and builds relationships with families and coworkers to create an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly. The position is with The Learning Experience, an early education academy. Compensation is $17.00–$23.00 per hour. Classrooms use current technology, materials, and resources. The company offers ongoing training, professional development, and leadership pathways.

Requirements

Six months of professional teaching experience is required.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Must meet applicable background screening or state licensing requirements for the role.
A genuine passion for the education and care of children.

Nice To Haves

One year of professional teaching experience is preferred.
An associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is preferred.
