About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers while promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position involves working with children indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with them. Learning Care Group describes its childcare programs as serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years and emphasizes a safe, nurturing, engaging environment and research-based curriculum.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
