About The Position

As a Lead Teacher at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners while creating engaging learning experiences and supporting their development. You will mentor fellow Teachers, promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success. You will also be expected to know and follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain expertise in and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
• Engage in physical activity with children and work indoors or outdoors.
