About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow Teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Learning Care Group describes its research-based curriculum as supporting holistic child development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Its programs serve children from 6 weeks to 12 years and are delivered through a family of brands.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Know and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support center success.
• Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

• Hourly pay of $19.09–$19.84, based on position, education, and experience.
