About The Position

Kids N Us is seeking an enthusiastic Lead Teacher to plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children enrolled in its care. The role is responsible for the overall supervision and daily classroom functions for a group of children. The employer states that no experience is needed and is willing to train the right person. The teacher creates a safe, nurturing classroom where children can learn and play; brings warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom; builds positive relationships with children, families, teachers, and staff; implements the school curriculum; and assesses students’ developmental needs. Work is in person, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two years of related experience and/or training, as listed in the qualifications; the posting also states that no experience is needed and that the employer is willing to train the right person.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid TB skin test.
Valid proof of MMR vaccination.
Valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption.
Valid food handlers permit.
Valid first aid and CPR card.
Child Care Basics (30-hour course) initial certificate or equivalent, within five years.
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
