About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers while supporting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position calls for an energetic, dependable, and passionate person who is at least 18, has experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans, and can meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements. The Lead Teacher must be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
