About The Position

Ebenezer Child Care Centers is seeking a FUN, CREATIVE, and INNOVATIVE Early Childhood Educator to join their team as a Lead Teacher. This 5-Star Program is committed to excellence in early childhood education and serves infants through school-age children across multiple locations. As a leading non-profit provider, they focus on fostering curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong love of learning using the E.P.I.C. Curriculum. The Lead Teacher will be the heart of the classroom, responsible for designing and implementing innovative lesson plans, building connections with children and families, and mentoring their team to ensure a high-quality learning experience in a nurturing and exciting environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or an Associate’s Degree with significant experience).
• Previous experience as a Lead Teacher or equivalent leadership role in early childhood education.
• Strong understanding of child development and best practices in education.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Positive, creative, and flexible approach to teaching.
• Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
• Clear background check, health screening, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with our E.P.I.C. Curriculum.
• Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel confident to explore and grow.
• Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers, ensuring seamless teamwork and high standards of care.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with families through open communication and regular updates.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress to tailor learning experiences and share insights with parents.
• Maintain an organized and exciting classroom, filled with materials that spark curiosity.
• Model professional behavior and inspire a culture of excellence and positivity.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and center policies.
