About The Position

Learn And Play Montessori Schools is seeking a Lead Teacher to support children’s learning, play, and development in a warm, nurturing classroom. The school uses a Montessori + STEM™ curriculum designed to promote children’s social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development and inspire lifelong learning. Teachers build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues while contributing to the success of their school.

Requirements

• Complete 12 core ECE units and an infant/toddler course.
• Hold a Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
• Be willing to change diapers.
• Have strong customer service skills.
• Be able to multitask and remain organized.
• Be able to work within regular operating hours.
• Meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Work with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, growth, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Implement the Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM™ curriculum in a way that meets each child’s unique needs.
