About The Position

Join HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher. The centers support children from infancy through preschool, making early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun so children can learn, play, and grow. The Lead Teacher creates age-appropriate learning experiences, maintains safe and organized classrooms, monitors children’s development, communicates with families, and collaborates with other teachers.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
• Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to create fun learning experiences.
• Maintain classrooms that meet TLE standards for cleanliness, safety, and organization, providing spaces where children can explore and learn.
• Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
• Build relationships and communicate with families, sharing daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
