About The Position

Learning Care Group, Inc. is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire preschool children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The Lead Teacher also mentors fellow Teachers and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The position may involve working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Be knowledgeable about and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
