About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensures familiarity with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position involves working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. Learning Care Group describes its early childhood programs as research-based and designed to support holistic child development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
