About The Position

As a Lead Teacher at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners and help create a supportive, engaging classroom. You will develop interactive learning experiences, promote preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, and mentor fellow Teachers. You will lead classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. You will also build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
