About The Position
Learn And Play Montessori Schools is hiring a full-time Lead Teacher in San Carlos. The teacher creates a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom where children can learn, play, and grow. The role uses the school’s Montessori + STEM™ curriculum to support each child’s social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development, while building meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
- 12 core ECE units and completion of an infant/toddler course.
- Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
- Willingness to change diapers.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to work within regular operating hours.
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
- Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
- Work with center staff and leadership toward goals related to enrollment, accreditation, growth, and engagement.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
- Implement the Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM™ curriculum in a way that meets each child’s unique needs.
