About The Position
The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow teachers. The role promotes preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher builds sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The role requires engagement with children indoors and outdoors and participation in physical activity. The position is at Children’s Courtyard, Vista del Lago. The work week is Monday through Friday. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience; the listed Lead Teacher range is $21.51–$23.91. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- At least 12 completed units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
