About The Position

Children’s Courtyard is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers; promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children; leads classroom management and curriculum implementation; follows licensing guidelines and company standards; and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success. Candidates must be at least 18, meet applicable state education and childcare center requirements, and be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience. The listed Lead Teacher pay range is $21.51–$23.91. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• 12 or more completed units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
