Lead Teacher, Childtime on W Portage Trail
About The Position
The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher builds sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center's success. The position requires engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activity with them. The work week is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
