Lead Teacher
About The Position
As a Lead Teacher, you will create interactive learning experiences, mentor fellow Teachers, and promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. You will lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, follow licensing guidelines and company standards, and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The role involves engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activity with them. The position is part of Learning Care Group, Inc., a provider of childcare and early childhood education programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
